Christmas Break.

Hello all! This is the second week of Christmas Break. Let me tell ya. I love not doing anything, but I'm actually tired of it! I finished two of Chelsea Handler's books--Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea and My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands. Call me a lame-o or loser, but I don't care. I finished each book in a day. Once you start reading it, you definitely do not want to put it down. I wanted more, and I can't wait for Chelsea Chelsea, Bang Bang. I recommend everyone to read her books, and while you're at it, watch Chelsea Lately on E!.

I went to the movies with Erika and Tracy to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. It was a really adorable movie, and I just found out that the voice of Theodore is Jesse McCartney. Hubba Hubba. I love love love love him. Anyway, I would have enjoyed my time at the movie a lot more if there weren't any punks at the movie theaters. I mean, really? They were just a bunch of little douche lords! I can't believe I forgot that immature little middle and highschoolers go to the movie to "hang out" and have full conversations, especially about what they're doing for NYE. Let me tell you.. you will be hanging at your parents house wishing you were coolier than what you really are. Talk about annoying. I was pretty close into getting in a fight but quickly remembered they were not worth my time. Maybe next time?

After the movie, I went home and watched The Ugly Truth. As much as I do not like Katherine Heigl as a person, she's a good actress. Whatever. It was a cute movie, I loved the LBD she wore in the movie. I found out that it was made by Giorgio Armani, and I want it! It is absolutely gorgeous and sexxxxxy, just like Eric Winter aka Colin in the movie. Talk about a hottie with a body. Wowza.

$950. So worth it, if I had the money...

Ok, time to go do something with my life. Euchre Tourn #4 tonight. I need to make some money, so wish me look! Hopefully there aren't any cheaters like the last tournament, douches... haha.

XOXO,

Indiana Basketball.

Hello readers. I haven't blogged in a while. No one reads this anyway, so it's all good. Well the semester is just about over. This past week was "dead week," and it was the easiest dead week of all time. Next week is finals. Then I'm done. What a pretty crazy feeling.

So I had a K201 Lab Practical today. It feels sooooo good to finally be K-2-oh-done! I sped through the practical, so I didn't have to miss too much of the game, which is why I wanted to blog in the first place. I think I'm going to devote my blogs to Indiana basketball, so here it goes.

Today the Hoosiers played against #4 University of Kentucky Wildcats. I can't speak for everyone, but I know I was excited for this game. I loved how the students, alumni, and just fans participated in the stripe out--true Hoosier pride! So right when I got to the game, the Hoosiers were up 17-9. I must have been bad luck since it didn't look too hot for us after I arrived; however, the first half was a great half, ending with 41-42, Wildcats. The second half was a different story. We got beat. 90-73.

Maurice Creek #3 was on fire. He definitely deserved to be the player of the game. Definitely, scoring 31 points this afternoon. 8/8 on free throws. Maurice, you are great. I applaud you! Maurice Creek and others on the team are exceptions, but why can't we make free throws? Tom, I think you need to devote an entire practice solely focusing on free throws. These are easy points that we can't just give up. We only had 3 guys on the line today. Maurice, Tom, and Bobby. Maurice was the only one who made any free throws, and he was 100% at that. Tom was 0/1. Bobby. Oh Bobby. 0/5. Really?!?! Come on now! These free throw practices are a must Coach, must! Anyway, I will say this. I think we played very well against Kentucky, a #4 team, today. It was another great learning experience for us, and we have come a long way from last year. I'm proud of the my boys today. I'll just stop at that.

Thanksgiving Break

Gobble Gobble :) I'm home for Thanksgiving Break! Wahoo! I love Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday. Yes, it beats Christmas even though Thanksgiving is just Christmas without the presents. Well guess what? That's exactly why I love it so much :) I'm so grateful for all the wonderful people in my life.

Anywho, I should be starting on my 10 page paper that was originally due this past Tuesday, but we got it extended to tomorrow at 11:59 p.m. I'm the epitome of a procrastinator. Oh well, I haven't blogged since the summer, and I just wanted to drop by. Life is currently "whatever." Hmm, actually, I'd say it's complicated, which makes it "whatever." I wish someone could just make decisions for me. Ahhhh, that would make life so much easier. Gosh, being such an indecisive person really blows sometimes. Here are some photos over break...

in line to get into the Coach store! :)

Life is... filled with surprises--good, bad, or sad

"I didn't really know you. We never hung out or did any of that sort. You were only a grade younger than me. You played basketball and just graduated from high school. You seemed like a nice person. I wish I knew more about you, but I, sadly, do not. However, I do know that you always had a smile on your face. I think everybody knew that. That's how you were remembered--you and your vibrant smile. You are truly missed by many, but you will never be forgotten."
Rest In Peace Kelly Roome

Sunday, July 12th Kelly's showing. I obviously didn't know her well, but from her showing, I quickly realized how many people loved her. The entire thing seemed surreal. I feel for her family who is mourning over her, but I (and I'm sure they) know that God and Kelly are looking after them now.

On a brighter note, Erika and I got new kicks. They're pretty sweet. I'll show you a photo of us rockin them. We also had our 2nd Euchre Tournament for the summer! The partners were me and Brad, Erika and Mallary, Taylor and Alan, Ryan and Abbey, Jessica and Stevie, and Corbin and Rachel. I would like to proudly say that Bradley Wayne and I won the gold. Was I surprised? Certainly not! I would also like to mention that Stevie and Jess were 0-5, making Stevie 0-10 overall. Talk about embarrassing!

What else is new? July 14th-16th was VBS at CCG, and Andrea and I were, of course, crew leaders. It was so amazing this year! The kids at VBS helped raise $875 within THREE days! The money is for Haitian kids, and now 241 kids will be able to eat lunch for a month! I immediately thought of 1 Timothy 4:12 when this happened. 4 year olds-5th graders helped feed 241 children. How amazing is that?!? They are truly are great examples of 1 Timothy 4:12. It just makes me want to cry! Haha

Speaking of crying, I watched My Sister's Keeper. The movie was around 1 hr and 50 mins. I'm pretty sure I cried for 1 hr and 20 mins. It was such a great movie! I loved it. I also watched The Proposal. It was a good romantic comedy. It had Sandra Bullock, so of course there were some laughs! I also recently watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. I reallllly liked that movie. I didn't think it would be that good, but I might have liked it more than The Proposal!

Anywho, I don't know what else anyone needs to know about what's been happening with con mi vida! I'm still interning at ESC, and it is still great! I can't believe that July is almost over... Summer has gone by so quickly this year! I start school in almost a month. It's just unbelievable. Oh, here's some random news: Megan Dixon got home from Germany today! I thought that was pretty exciting since she's one of my fave people! Ok, I'm finally done here! Jezi renmen w! That means Jesus loves you in Creole!

Erika & Me with our new chucks

This picture just cracks me up.
I'm rawring like Tigers... cough, Carter.

The outcome of the tournament. Beautiful.

Me & my amazing partner.
We're great together!

Hello reality.

Hi Blogspot. You're my new xanga. Haha. Anyway, I figured I should write in this since I made one. Well it's already half way into the summer, and it sure did fly by. I'm interning at Endangered Species Chocolate. Good thing I have some connections with Patty B! It is a paid internship, by the way. I absolutely enjoy working there. It's definitely full of surprises, and it is--hands down--unlike any other company, which makes me love it even more. I'm glad I get to experience a Monday-Friday job. Let's just say it's a rude awakening to real life. Haha. Another exciting thing about interning is that Craigers is interning at a company the street over, so we can get lunch together! How fun is that?!

Enough about work! My friends and I just had our very own Black&White party. We all went to PF Changs to eat some din din and headed back to Mallary's for the "dessert reception." The basement was beautiful. I did some of the lights, but major props go to Mallary and Andrea for doing such a wonderful job at decorating! Now that the B&W Affair is over, looks like it's time for our TOGA party! Well, that's a maybe. I'm just pumped for our second Euchre Tournament this Sunday! Here are some photos from the B&W Affair...
